FAQ

Frequently asked questions about aftercare and long-term results.

How often do I have to come for aftercare?

Weekly for the first 4 weeks, then at longer intervals. We see each other at least at 1, 3, 6 and 12 months. All appointments are included in the treatment price.

How long does the result last?

A deep plane facelift lasts 8–10 years. You continue to age afterwards — but from a markedly younger starting point.

Can I have a second facelift after some years?

Yes, secondary facelifts are possible. They are usually less extensive than the first operation, because the tissue structure has already been corrected.

Do I receive an emergency number after healing?

For the first 7 days you have a 24/7 emergency number. Afterwards you can still reach us by phone during our opening hours — even years after surgery.

Am I “finished” after 6 months?

No. You remain our patient — we continue to care for you. If you have questions years later (about skin care, a second procedure, further ageing), we are here for you.

What can I do to make the result last?

Consistent sun protection, skin care, a healthy lifestyle, no smoking. We also recommend regular check-ups and advise on complementary measures such as botulinum toxin, fillers or skin care.

Your question is not there?

We are happy to take time for your personal questions.

In the first consultation we discuss everything you would like to know — in peace, without time pressure.
